Futura

FUTURA is a truck ferry for Scandlines under construction at Cemre Shipyard as NB1090 for delivery in 2025. The ferry is a battery-hybrid vessel that will be operating the Puttgarten-Rødby route between Germany and Denmark. The large battery installation of 10 MWh can be charged in just 17 minutes in Rødby. With a crossing time of one hour, the ferry is emission free in operation. It can also be operated as a hybrid ferry and then the crossing time is 45 minutes.
