RISVÆR is a Car & Passenger Ferry for Norled under construction at Tersan Havyard Shipyard as NB154 for delivery in 2026. This is the second of four sister vessels.
Features
Norled won the tender for ferry routes Stokkvågen-Lovund and Stokkvågen-Træna (with intermediate stops) after offering a concept that reduces emissions by 90%. Four new battery-hybrid ferries shall enter into service in 2027.
Træna is located 55km into the North Sea from Helgeland in northern Norway, so this is a ferry route that have to cope with very harsh environment.
